How true this is of modern publishing! The best of times for written expression, a monumental time for narrative history in its diversity of voices, its experimentation with the written form. And yet, how truly the worse of times it has become for authors, especially first-time authors. Authors who have undertaken the no small feat of bearing their soul into a written story, only to be spurned by the traditional publishing industry or forced to surrender their rights to a “self-publishing” publishing monopoly.
We believe there should be a new option. So, we’ve created bluelit. We want to write a new story for publishing, one that foregrounds the author and champions authorial intent and your own, wondrous, narrative voice.
